With the implementation of the EGalim law, which will ban the use of plastic trays for cooking and reheating, the stainless steel container is already imposing itself as the most food-grade, cleanable, unbreakable, perfectly suited to hot and cold, the most reusable and sustainable container.
Its daily use imposes numerous handling operations:
1 – at the washing station exit.
2 – for storage: on shelves or on transport ladders.
3 – in the transport to the production and/or packaging areas.
All of these handling operations lead to MSDs* over time.
To facilitate the work of kitchen operators and effectively combat MSDs, Matfer Bourgeat offers a range of ergonomic trolleys for transporting/storing stainless steel containers or lids.
ERGONOMIC
The tray placement area, 600 mm from the floor, allows the trays to be loaded without the operator needing to lean over, thus limiting the risks of MSD.
It is designed to ensure better tray guidance during loading. Its backward tilt:
- ensures the stability of stacks of trays or lids during movements.
- facilitates unstacking.
The specially designed handle is easy to grip at different heights to suit all operator sizes (ergonomic height of 110 mm at the top of the handle).
FEWER HANDLING OPERATIONS
It thus offers mobile tray storage, avoiding redundant handling (placement on shelves followed by tray collection).
EASY TO MANOEUVRE
Thanks to the 4 swivel castors (dia. 125 mm with brakes), the ergonomic trolleys of the Matfer Bourgeat group are easy to move even when loaded.
EASY STORAGE
Trolleys available in GN1/1 inlet 325 mm or 530 mm and GN2/1 inlet 650 mm, without or with inter-stack separation to facilitate loading of different sizes of containers or lids.
EASY MAINTENANCE
Washable with water jet.
