On March 30, 2026, the 2026 Marcel Le Servot Trophy kicked off. The ceremony was held at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs in Paris. Matfer Bourgeat participated as an official partner. We were therefore in attendance alongside the future leading figures of the culinary world. The event was organized by Les Cuisiniers de la République Française and held under the high patronage of the President of the Republic.
A competition recognizing excellence among hospitality and culinary students
The Marcel Le Servot Trophy honors an exceptional chef. Marcel Le Servot served as head chef at the Élysée Palace from 1968 to 1984. Today, the competition bears his name and embodies his values. It welcomes students pursuing the BAC PRO and BTS programs at hospitality high schools in metropolitan France. Each year, it showcases the creativity, expertise, and dedication of the next generation.
These values are also those of Matfer Bourgeat. Culinary excellence, passing on the craft, and a passion for French gastronomy: these are all convictions we share. Thus, partnering with the 2026 Marcel Le Servot Trophy means making a concrete investment in the future of the culinary arts.

🥈 2e place – Hugo Coudert – Médéric, l’École hôtelière de Paris

Par ailleurs, le Prix Guillaume Gomez du meilleur commis récompensait Théo Rodrigues, de Ferrandi Paris. Il a démontré une excellence technique remarquable tout au long de la compétition.
Antoine Caribaux Honored at the 2026 Marcel Le Servot Trophy
This edition also marked a significant honorary distinction. Antoine Caribaux was awarded the Order of Agricultural Merit. This recognition celebrates his exceptional career. It also highlights his contribution to promoting France’s culinary heritage.
