On Sunday, March 29, 2026, the Matfer Bourgeat teams participated in the 2026 10 km des Étoiles. This race is a must-attend event for professionals in the hospitality, restaurant, and tourism industries. It took place in the heart of Paris. The day was a celebration of pushing one’s limits, teamwork, and solidarity.
The 2026 10 km des Étoiles: The Flagship Race of the Hospitality Industry
The 10 km des Étoiles has been held since 2017. Today, it is the largest sporting event of its kind in France. Each year’s event attracts hundreds of teams, including hotel chains, restaurants, hospitality schools, and tourism industry professionals.
For this 8th edition, the race started at 9:30 a.m. at Place du Palais Royal. The route then followed the banks of the Seine, passing by the Louvre, the Trocadéro, the Eiffel Tower, the Grand Palais, and the Tuileries Garden, among other landmarks. An exceptional setting for a challenge worthy of our teams.
A Charity Run: The Organizations Supported by the 2026 10 km des Étoiles
Beyond the sport itself, the 2026 10 km des Étoiles embodies core values. This year’s event supported three organizations:
Laurette Fugain — fighting blood cancers and raising awareness about bone marrow donation
Antoine Alléno — Support for victims of traffic accidents under the age of 25 and their families
Barth Syndrome Association — Support for children and families affected by this rare genetic disorder
So taking part in the 2026 10 km des Étoiles means running for much more than just the sport itself. Matfer Bourgeat is proud to have contributed, in its own way, to these community initiatives.
