In Paris’s 13th arrondissement, the Banque Populaire offices now feature two employee restaurants that are as elegant as they are functional. Matfer Bourgeat is behind this dual project, which was designed and manufactured in France.
On the ground floor, the focus is on a welcoming atmosphere and efficiency. The main restaurant is organized around an imposing central buffet, combining freshness and indulgence: refrigerated display cases for appetizers and salads, heated display cases for daily specials, and even a fruit bar to stock up on vitamins. The technical trick? A Satellite refrigerated cabinet, seamlessly integrated into a wood-paneled niche, allows for smooth and discreet restocking.
2 Food Line sets for a truly premium retail experience
On the fifth floor, the atmosphere changes: the tone is more subdued and upscale. Here, the teams have opted for a premium layout, featuring two Food Line displays that showcase appetizers and desserts under carefully designed lighting. A “wow” factor is guaranteed. Here, the compact design of the two Food Line units fits naturally into this particularly small serving area.
Elegant simplicity reigns, right down to the choice of materials: the heated tops match the color of the countertop, and the ever-present Satellite cabinets disappear into discreet niches to ensure seamless service. For hot dishes prepared to order, the classic combination of the Satellite unit and a tempered glass heating surface remains a reliable choice.
