TOUR ALTO – PARIS – LA DÉFENSE: A CONTEMPORARY VISION OF THE COMPANY RESTAURANT BY MATFER BOURGEAT

Behind its unmistakable tortoiseshell glass facade are 4 catering areas, offering a diverse and refined range of food and drink every day.
The Alto Tower, located in La Défense business district of Paris, is the work of the renowned IF Architecture agency. Behind its unmistakable tortoiseshell glass facade are no less than 4 catering aeras, offering a diverse and refined (delicate) range of foods and drinks every day for the pleasure of the palate.

PASTRIES, SANDWICHES OR SUSHI AT ANY TIME

In the Alto Tower, everything is done to avoid routine. Feeling hungry? Feeling a bit peckish ? The fast-food areas welcome customers around a sculptural refrigerated buffet with a facade made of oak slats and a refrigerated top in black Zimbabwe granite, entirely custom-made by Matfer Bourgeat. Viennoiseries, muffins, sandwiches, salads and fresh sushis are all available in the refrigerated display. A healthy and well-thought out menu, a Japanese-style design decor… everything is designed to whet the appetite and provide a friendly start to the day.

LA SCENE, SPOTLIGHT ON A RESTAURANT WHERE CONVIVIALITY RHYMES WITH MODERNITY

At lunch break, customers who want to spend time in enjoying a healthy, well-balanced meal prepared with care, reach La scène restaurant. The restaurant is laid out around a large central aisle, with appetizers, desserts, drinks and hot dishes served on both sides.

This “wandering” layout ensures a smooth flow of traffic and avoids wasting time. Daily or theme dishes are served on a set of heated glass-ceramic tops. The whole unit is protected by protective glass to prevent splashes or customers being burned by the heating elements. The black Zimbabwe granite handrails (trayslides) are set at a height to accommodate all types of guests, including those with reduced mobility.

What’s striking when you enter the restaurant are the exemplary finishes created by Matfer Bourgeat. The fronts of the furniture are made of calepinage, which perfectly matches the black granite top. The result is a warm, chic atmosphere.

PARIS AT 360

On the 23rd floor, the Mix restaurant welcomes you for an incredible experience : enjoy a French meal with a 360° view over Paris. In the same spirit as the restaurant La Scène, Mix offers a varied range of gourmet dishes in a unique setting. It’s a true delight, as much for the taste buds as for one of the most beautiful views of Paris.
